This past week has just been crazy, between the winter storm and school being closed and starting this blog. It’s been something.
I am trying to read plus work on my health and fitness plus trying to write at least a blog post a day. I enjoy writing and I love just being able to show people of glimpse of my life.
So let’s start with the beginning of the week. This lovely snow storm that came through Kansas last weekend hit my area pretty big. My mom and I named it snowmegeddon 2025. It started on Saturday with what was considered a blizzard and I was so worried that I prepared things around the house just in case we lost power. Aaron was at work when it started and he and his boss were determined to make it home to their families. Let me tell you, I was super anxious just know he was driving home in it. Did it take him almost an hour to get home when usually it only take him 20-30 mins.
Monday thru Tuesday I was off work due to the state of emergency due to inclement weather that was announced via the governor. I ended up working on what was my previous blog and reading books. Those days were just kind of a relaxing and stay warm kind of days. David wanted to go outside to play but the weather was WAY to cold for that.
Wednesday I had to work but David were still out of school. So that was super interesting having kids home while I was working. David and I did work on his Bible quizzing practice because he has a meet coming up soon. So to help motivate him I tell him that every question that he answers correctly during practices with me and as a group he gets a penny for each and what ever he has from the practices he gets to use at the snack shack during the meet.
Thursday was another day off for me but instead of relaxing for the day we ended up going grocery shopping. I should have taken a picture of all what I got but I do have a picture of the receipts of just from the 2 stores that we went to. When we got home we reorganized the deep freeze, the freezer, and the cabinet to make sure everything fits.

Friday was just a busy day at work and both Aaron and David had the day off, which must of been fun and nice because I could hear giggling from David. That evening we went out to dinner with my mom and both of the kids. The kids wanted Chinese food which was fine with the adults. Let me tell you I love it when the adults can be silly just to get the kids to giggle and laugh away. Aaron does this thing that the kids think is hilarious, which is when Aaron does an Australian accent and says “Crickey there’s the mother-in-law and she’s the most dangerous thing on the earth.” The kids just giggle and laugh for the entire thing.
Saturday was a relaxing day at the beginning and David decided to build a snowman (pictured below) at my mom’s house, then my mom and the kids and I decided to go to Five Below. I was able to pick up a yoga mat as well as a kettle bell to help me work out at home. I think that it is going to be a good thing. After that we all went to church and Callie colored a picture in her group and was able to tell me about it. Then we had drop off and then went home.

I do hope that this week is much better compared to last week. I think that I will be able to focus more on my goals as well as many other things. Hope you have a wonderful week as well!
Sincerely,
