I’m currently absorbed by books and writing.

  • Book name: The Santas Who Stole Me
    Author: Heather Nicks

    Genre: Reverse Harem Romance

Intro: Who would have thought falling in love with your kidnapper would be interesting, but falling for all 3?!
My rating & Review: 4🌟- I loved the book. The banter between all the characters was adorable and funny. When I was getting towards the end, I didn’t want to put it down

  • I am so excited to announce that I have been accepted into @lornagrimmauthor‘s ARC team for her upcoming release, Reap for Romance. Reap for Romance is a spicy, interconnected standalone that follows Necromancer “Ryn,” who is creating a life-saving procedure that combines science and necromancy to save lives. When she hits some snags, she partners with Seth to help move things along–which sets the groundwork for a passionate love affair. However, success triggers a maelstrom of misfortune which leads to dangerous contraband, Unseelie schemes, and body-snatching ploys.

This paranormal romance will be released on July 28th, 2026, and will be available on Amazon & Kindle Unlimited! Don’t want to wait for Reap for Romance to be released before diving into Lorna Grimm’s universe? No problem–you can download a FREE e-copy of Haunt my Halls on Amazon on Thursday, June 11th and Friday, June 12th!

  • So far we are almost half was through the year so I wanted to share with you my top 3 books so far.

    1. Onyx Storm by Rebecca Yarros – This book as been my favorite so far. I have always been a romantasy girlie so when I originally read Fourth Wing I just had to continue reading the series. Now am I mad that I have to wait for the next one? Yes, yes I am but it’s ok.
    2. Not Quite Dead Yet by Holly Jackson – This book was a quick read for me but I will tell you that it really caught my attention and I will admit that I wish it didn’t end.
    3. Lights Out by Navessa Allen – This was a book that I was not really into reading as it was one of those books that were hyped up due to BookTok. Well I did end up caving and reading it and actually enjoyed it so much that I had to get the next book of the series. 😅

I like how I can rate my top 3 of books that I have read. Maybe, just maybe I’ll do this again in 3 months.

If you have read this far… Tell me what your favorite book has been so far this year that you’ve read?

  • What goals do I have for this month? One thing I want to do is sign up for more ARC reads. I also want to be able to read more than just one book in a month. So I’m going to break down my own goals that I am setting for myself.

    1. Read at least 3 books – I want to hit my yearly goal this year, and I know that I am already at 14 of my goal. I want to surpass my goal.
    2. Write a book review for every book – I feel like writing a book review for every book will also help me get back into writing more on here.

I know that this might be a short post, but that is exactly why I want to write more so that I can get better and have longer posts.

Question for the readers: What book is your go-to recommendation?

    ,
  • This past weekend, I read a short story called Cold Sweat by Vera Valentine. This was only 9 chapters long, and when I say that it was a quick read, I was able to read this while going to a family member’s house.

My thoughts: When I first received this book, I didn’t know what to expect. I read the back, which was what caught my attention, as it is not your typical book. This is a taboo step-brother/step-sister trope but with a twist…

I will be completely honest with you: it did take a couple of chapters to get going, but once I did, I didn’t want to put it down.

My rating: 4.5/5 🌟 The only reason I took away a half a star was that it just took me a bit to catch on, but like I said, once I did, I didn’t want to put it down.

Have you read this book? Yes, what are your thoughts? What book should I read next?

    ,
  • I recently joined a Discord server that has actually got me back into reading. I have met some amazing people there as well and read some interesting things about books coming out. I do plan on writing more book Reviews to help get books out there. I will attempt to write a review of the book I just finished on 05/31/26.

  • Well, we ended up taking a break from looking and collecting Pokémon cards. We took a break from everything to be honest. Well, we recently got back into it, and now we are even making a vlog as well for YouTube about our Pokémon journey.

Since our last update, we have done pretty well in finding cards. Let me break it down of how we are doing.

    • Gen 1 – 135/151
    • Gen 2 – 76/100
    • Gen 3 – 105/135
    • Gen 4 – 78/107
    • Gen 5 – 119/156
    • Gen 6 – 51/72
    • Gen 7 – 58/88
    • Gen 8 – 79/96
    • Gen 9 – 89/120

Here is a link to the current cards that we do have in our Pokédex as well: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1OXzqdqih9RwH7V90SRK45JClK75daFO1XHm_1–xu0E/edit?usp=sharing

The kids have recently been coming across YouTubers who are also collecting cards and completing challenges to get master sets. That is when I was asked if we could start our own YouTube channel. I said why not. So we are currently vlogging our adventures when we go to card shops, as well as when we go to any card shows. They have also come up with the idea to just make fun videos about us. My kids are something else, that’s for sure.

Hopefully, my goal is also to be able to blog more in general. This is more of a place for me to get my thoughts out and give updates.

  • So last month I read a total of 11 books. For this month, My goal is to read another 11 books, whether it be physical books, e-books, or audio books ( which gets me through my work day.)

Most of the books I read are romance, fantasy, or very very much smut. My favorites this year have been Onyx Storm, the Edge of Darkness trilogy, and Blood of Hercules.

    What book would you recommend?

    ,
  • So as I have previously wrote on here that I like to bullet journal. Well this year I added something to help me keep track of my reading and how much I read. So, I’m going to break it down here as well. 🙃

Books read this month: 11 books

Pages read this month: 2,230 pgs

    Books bought this month: 0

    Books Borrowed this month: 3

    Paperbacks: 4

    Hardcovers: 1

    Met goals this month: Yes

    E-books: 6

Wow! That is a lot of books read for 1 month! Do you think I can beat 11 books for the month of Feb?

    ,
  • I started this book on January 5th via audio book. I finished it the next day. I couldn’t stop listening to it!

    I did enjoy it! 4⭐️

I will be honest that the main reason I read this was for a reading challenge on Good Reads and I didn’t think that I would like it but man was I wrong.

The best way to describe this book is solving a murder that hasn’t happened yet. So I would definitely go give this book a read if you have a chance.
